Sammelunterkünfte und EU-Lager sind unzumutbar!
Die Lebensbedingungen in Sammelunterkünften für Geflüchtete in
Deutschland sind unerträglich: Es gibt kaum Rückzugsräume, Menschen
leben in Mehrbettzimmern. Sanitäranlagen und Küchen müssen sich mit sehr vielen Menschen geteilt werden. Für ein Bett im Mehrbettzimmer zahlen Menschen mit Job in Brandenburg bis zu 500 Euro. Die Unterkünfte liegen meist isoliert außerhalb von Siedlungen. Viele leben jahrelang unter solchen Umständen!
In den Lagern um die EU-Grenzen herrschen katastrophale Lebensbedingungen: Wasser, Seife, Sanitäranlagen sind knapp, die Lager überfüllt und militärisch abgeriegelt.
Mit Corona noch schlimmer
Die Pandemie macht diese Situation noch bedrohlicher: In Deutschland werden ganze Unterkünfte in Massenquarantäne gesetzt. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, sich aus dem Weg zu gehen und sich selbst zu schützen. In den großen Flüchtlingslagern sind die Menschen der Seuche ausgeliefert, es gibt kaum medizinische Versorgung.
Schutzsuchende in solche Umgebungen zu zwingen ist ein Verbrechen! Die Unantastbarkeit der Würde wird mit Füßen getreten und basale Rechte auf Wohnraum, Privatsphäre, sanitäre Versorgung und Gesundheit entzogen.
Wir wenden uns an die Brandenburger Kommunen, Landkreise und an die Landesregierung:

Sammelunterkünfte und Mehrbettzimmer abschaffen!
Recht auf eine eigene Wohnung für alle!
Zugang zu Schulen, Kultur, öffentlicher Nahverkehr und Nachbarschaft statt Isolation in Sammelunterkünften!
Selbstbestimmtes Wohnen und Leben!
Privatsphäre und sichere Toiletten und Duschen!

Collective housing and EU refugee camps are intolerable!
Living Conditions in refugee homes (collective accommodations) are intolerable: No privacy, people live in shared rooms with shared sanitation, you have to pay up to 500 Euros for a bed in a room in Brandenburg. Some people are forced to live there for many years under camp-like conditions. They are not allowed to move elsewhere.
Living conditions in the EU-refugee camps are disastrous: not enough medicine, no hot water, no toilets and showers. Camps are hermetically sealed by military forces and police.
Pandemic makes them a death trap
In times of pandemic this is a death trap! In Germany, everyday people get infected and hole accommodations are closed off. There is no possibility to step aside or to protect oneself. In the huge EU-camps people are at the merci of epedemic, there is barely health care. Forcing people that seek for protection to live under such conditions is a crime! Inviolability of human dignity is destroyed und basic rights for a save housing space, privacy, sanitary and health are detracted.

Let people move to apartments and hotels! Stop mass infections!
Now and forever:
Abolish collective housing and shared rooms!
For the right to live in one’s own apartment – More apartments for everyone!
Stop isolation of residents: Create easy access to schools, culture, public transportation and neighbourhoods!
For a self-determined living and life of the residents: They should be allowed to decide for themselves: With whom they live. What they cook. Or what and when they want to eat!
For more privacy and safe toilets and showers!
